Pre-Kindergarten

Age Requirement: Child must be four years old by September 1st of the enrolling year.

Attends 5 days: Monday through Friday.

Parents can enroll their children for a 4-hour session from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.

  • Alphabet Time - Daily instruction on Phonological Awareness, Alphabet Recognition, Print Awareness and Oral Language. Contains a cumulative review of the previously taught ABCs.

  • Book Time - Develops rich language and listening comprehension through a mix of fication and non-fiction. Builds cultural literacy through classic, timeless tales.

  • Center Time/Small Groups - Provides purposeful learning experiences through free and guided play.

  • Content Area - Social Studies, Science, Math and Music are integrated into the daily plan and tightly linked to the unit's theme, vocabulary and literature.
